Me and Pat, finalists together again at the award ceremony.!

Here are many of my fellow 2009 GH finalists, The Ruby-Slippered Sisters at The Golden Network Dessert Reception.

My GH finalist picture.

At The Golden Network dessert reception many of us wore our red shoes.  Mine are front and center and extremely comfy. This is the Ruby Slipper pin my 2009 GH class bought as a our class pin because 'There's No Place Like the Bestsellers List!'

We put our right foot in . . .

We pull our right foot out . . .

(The picture  would've been a little clearer if my son didn't have to shoot the picture from the rear of an audience of over 2,500 people.)

My family at the Golden Heart reception.  (From left to right) My wonderful, generous husband, my wise & beautiful daughter, ME, my witty & creative son, and  the adorable & compassionate woman he was smart enough to marry  My hubby's fun-loving sister (one of my biggest supporters) was also there, but she was taking the picture.  There she is at the bottom right, catching a few Zs while she waits for me to get ready.

(She'd never let us take her picture, otherwise)
